December 2016- Fed Preview
The Federal Open Market Committee (FOMC) of the Federal Reserve Bank meets on 12/14/2016, for the final time this year.
They will announce their decision on any alteration of short-term interest rates at 1pm CT and a press conference with Fed Chair, Janet Yellen, will follow 30 minutes thereafter.
There is little suspense in the market as to the intentions of the FOMC, with certain gauges pricing in a 100% certainty of an upward adjustment of 0.25%.
John Nagle architected a preview of the Fed’s decision and the primary inputs that will be driving the Fed’s deliberation.
I hope you find the contents insightful.
